The Tithe and Offering Tithing is the first ten percent of our income, given as an act of trust and worship, acknowledging that everything we have comes from God. When we faithfully give, we have an opportunity to enter into God's economy and also open the door for His provision and blessings in our lives. An offering is what we give above and beyond the tithe, flowing from a heart of generosity and gratitude. While the tithe is a step of obedience, recognizing God as our provider, offerings are a freewill gift that allow us to partner with Him in expanding His Kingdom, knowing He blesses cheerful and generous giving.
